   ROHDE & SCHWARZ NRP-Z11   Description / Specification:
ROHDE & SCHWARZ NRP-Z11 8 GHz Three-path Universal Diode Power Sensor

The R&S NRP-Z11 8 GHz three-path diode universal power sensor is suitable for numerous applications because it supports continuous average, burst average, timeslot average, gate average and trace measurements. Featuring outstanding performance and high measurement speed and accuracy, the sensors can be used to perform precise average power measurements on modern wireless standard signals such as LTE, 3GPP, GSM, WiMAX™ and WLAN. For detailed analysis of GSM signals, for example, the sensors offer additional measurement functions such as the timeslot mode and trace mode with a video bandwidth of 100 kHz. Specifications. Frequency range: 10 MHz to 18 GHz. Power range: 200 pW to 200 mW (–67 dBm to +23 dBm). Maximum average power: 400 mW. Peak envelope power: 1 W (PK, 10 µs). Connector type: N. Impedance matching (SWR): 10 MHz to 2.4 GHz < 1.13, > 2.4 GHz to 8.0 GHz < 1.20. Rise time Video BW: < 8 µs > 50 kHz. Zero offset (typ.): 64 pW. Noise (typ.): 40 pW. Uncertainty for power measurements at +20 °C to +25 °C: 0.047 dB to 0.083 dB (absolute), 0.022 dB to 0.066 dB (relative). Model .04 has a reduced length of connecting cable (0.4 m).

Adjacent Channel Power
Adjacent Channel Power is the power from a modulated communications channel that leaks into an adjacent channel. This leakage is usually specified as a ratio to the power in the main channel, but is sometimes an absolute power.

Fall Time
Fall time is the time required for the amplitude of a pulse to decrease (fall) from a specified value (usually 90 percent of the peak value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot) to another specified value (usually 10 percent of the maximum value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot).

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.
